Mallee’s vaccination rates have once again shown outstanding results in the data released this
Tuesday. Across Mallee, the first dose uptake is sitting at 93.3%, while the second dose rate is sitting
at 62.7%

Member for Mallee, Anne Webster said this week’s vaccination rates have shown the biggest
increase in vaccine uptake in the space of one week.

“These figures are a source of encouragement to our community at this difficult time,” Dr Webster
said.

“Across the region, we are edging closer to 70% first jab. We have already seen these targets hit in
Buloke Shire and Yarriambiack Shire and I commend all those who have helped to reach this
milestone.

“In Mildura, where we have accumulating cases, we have concurrently seen our greatest escalation
is vaccine uptake. People across the community can take comfort in knowing that we are indeed
heading in the right direction
