Federal Member for Mallee Anne Webster has congratulated the Tarnagulla Public Hall Committee of Management on their successful funding under the Federal Government’s Saluting Their Service Commemorative Grants Program.
The committee has been granted $5,132 to commission indoor and outdoor banners for display around Tarnagulla to commemorate local service personnel.
“I am pleased this funding is able to be delivered to the community in Tarnagulla,” Dr Webster said.
“It is so important we respect and commemorate the service of our servicemen and women, and I looking forward to their plan coming to fruition.”
The Saluting Their Service Program is funding from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for projects and activities that commemorate the service and sacrifice of Australia’s military personnel in wars, conflicts and peace operations
