Member for Mallee Anne Webster MP welcomes the news today that Telstra have turned on three new base station towers across Mallee to improve mobile coverage. Telstra have turned on state of the art mobile technology in the communities of Sandhill Lake, Glenloth East, and Langkoop under the Federal Government’s Mobile Blackspot Program (MBSP).“Communities across Mallee continue to benefit from the Federal Governments Mobile Blackspot Program, enabling them to connect to family, friends and markets more reliably than ever before.” said Dr Webster.“Thanks to our Government’s significant investment, people living, working and travelling in in the Mallee will continue to have better mobile coverage. This is great news for local farming communities as well as people travelling through the electorate who will enjoy the benefits of improved mobile coverage”“Each new mobile tower is connecting regional communities across Mallee to online services, increasing productivity and generating economic growth, which is why the Government continues to invest Mobile Blackspot Program” Dr Webster said.
